Alleati in Italia e nel vicentino

February-March 2019

More than five hundred original pieces including uniforms, armaments and objects, as well as dozens of posters, photographs and unpublished cartographic material, allow the visitor to explore an unusual yet fundamental area of the Great War: that of the strong Allied presence in Italy during the Great War. It also takes a more detailed look at the Vicenza area and in particular at our valleys and Montecchio Maggiore.

The exhibition was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Collector Massimo Padovan, the 12th Battalion Durham Light Infantry WW1 Re-enacting group, and the advice of researcher Gianni Peltrin.
